Forty years spent restoring historic homes of Connecticut for a client list of CEOs and captains of industry has given Larry Leary a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship of those who came before him. The aesthetics and grace of that bygone era, and that dedication to technique and artistry, live on in Leary and in the designs he creates.

With The Old Town Bluffton Inn, he’s creating something that will not only look as if it had always been there, but that will still stand as a Bluffton landmark centuries from now. As he says, “I’m not building it for me. I’m building it for Bluffton.”

Helping Leary realize his dream of a gorgeous bed and breakfast in Bluffton, SC will be his daughter Danielle Harrison, along with her husband Vince, pictured here. It was the late 1970s when Danielle first set eyes on Old Town Bluffton, when the town was still just a single four-way stop on the way to Hilton Head Island. It was here in the South Carolina Lowcountry where she met her husband Vince, and here that they have set down roots and started a family.

With Larry’s designs forming the foundations of the inn, Danielle overseeing the day-to-day and Vince’s deep connection to the Lowcountry informing the entire experience, the Old Town Bluffton Inn is not just creating a new experience in luxury hospitality at a picturesque bed and breakfast. It’s forging a new family legacy.

Come experience this legacy for yourself; a legacy of genuine hospitality, of sensational elegance and of sweet tea and cornbread Southern charm. Come to the Old Town Bluffton Inn, and leave ordinary behind.
